The Shower Shirt Post-Surgical Mastectomy Dialysis Garment is a water-resistant, garment designed by a breast cancer patient to prevent post-surgical mastectomy drains from coming into contact with water while showering. It helps to reduce post-surgical infections, more commonly known as Surgical Site Infections, or SSI’s. It involves the placement of surgical drains, tubes, ports, and catheters which penetrate the skin.
