To Measure using the Measuring tape:

Measure the patient from hip to hip and multiply by 2 and add 2 inches.
Once you have the total hip measurement, use the McKesson sizing chart and determine the proper size based on the product

To measure using the height and weight of the user:

Refer to the McKesson sizing chart. For example, if the patient is 5;5" and 140 pounds then you would select a size Medium. See sizing chart above.
